Adapt a USB port on an iCOMPEL media player for connecting to RS-232 or GPIO devices.


  • This adapter enables an iCOMPEL® media players to communicate with external RS-232 or GPIO devices.
  • Adapts the USB Type A port on the iCOMPEL® unit to an DB9 male connection.
  • Use to connect an iCOMPEL® media player to an external motion detector, light sensor, button, panel, emergency management system, or facilities management system to trigger (or halt) content playout.
